We often anticipate Spring as baby green, sweet-faced lambs and blossoms in vibrant color\u2026 but especially in northern hemispheres, Spring is moody and bipolar. It can be quite shitty, really. Wet, cold. Grey. Windy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go Outside. \u201cThe Universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper,\u201d wrote Eden Phillpotts, English author and playwright, 1919. We have to look for the magic. Wait for it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Writing for Bella Grace<\/em> does just that, nudging me out from under my warm blanket of complacency and into a brisk walk of glorious wonder. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How inspiring is my French neighbor on her own bicycle with its handsome wicker basket, perfect for fetching the mail and bundles of wildflowers or baguettes of fresh baked bread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I ride with the wind blowing through my hair, back straight, wearing a floral summer dress down the trail along the creek, across a meadow, under a canopy of trees, and over the bridge, past wetlands and the bird sanctuary to a wooded alcove.<\/em><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
